1966 FERRARI 275 GTB Long Nose Torque Tube

This fabulous Ferrari 275 GTB Long Nose, chassis 08489, was delivered new in May 1966 through Franco Britannic dealership to Mr Albert Prost, a French industrial based in Roannes (North of Lyon).
Mr. Prost was a very important French collector who owned several very important Ferrari including a 250LM, 250 GT Tour de France and this 275 GTB.

The car was beautifully configured in Celeste Metallizzato over a Beige Interior.
Because he had so many cars, Mr. Prost barely used this 275 GTB and today the odometer shows an original mileage of 39,000 kms.
Mr Prost passed away in 2004 and his widow inherited from the whole collection.
She later decided to give this car as well as a 300 SL Gullwing to his Grandson, from whom we purchased the car.
Right before we bought 08489, the car was sent to the bodyshop in order to be repainted while a mechanical overhaul was carried out by a well known French mechanic.

Today the car is in perfect condition, retaining its original and patinated interior.
All numbers are matching, and the car comes with his original books, tools and spare wheel.
